Full belly, full heart, full life!

So I often use this hashtag #fullbelly when posting pictures of all the good eats I fix up. I haven’t posted a whole lot lately about recipes, but would definitely like to begin. Food has always been a big part of my life. That may sound strange, but it’s true. Every family event, every gathering with friends, every workplace meeting, and every date-night with my hubby centers around a meal. I believe in eating healthy, but also enjoying foods that maybe aren’t so healthy. But I’ll tell ya, anything with flour and sugar sure makes my belly happy! For me, it’s all about balancing the good with some treats. Below are some of my fave recipes that are tried-and-true in my cookbooks.

These are some of my favorite recipes that my family loves every time I make them. I’m no expert in the kitchen, but I do love working with my hands to create food that will sustain my loved ones and please their taste-buds. Though I try to throw in fruits and veggies where I can (I never was good at my fruits and veggies), there’s plenty of butter and sugar that gets tossed around my kitchen.
